Glow Worms is a play about about how survivors of domestic violence find
healing through community, dance, and a sprinkle of magical worm
transformation. We begin in a support group meeting in a church basement,
where survivors come from all walks of life, each with their own unique story to
tell. Sheri, who is unable to talk about her past, slides into the floor and finds
herself underground in a magical cave of pop star glow worms. The glow
worms use song, dance and a healthy dose of sass to help Sheri reclaim
bravery and joy.
